  1. I ordered this after reading the reviews, and never got to even use it because after unpacking it all I found one of the clips that holds the water reservoir was broken off. So… I managed to get it back in the box (no easy task), then ordered and received a replacement, and guess what?! The same exact clip was broken off this one too! So… I don’t know if it’s the packaging, or the manufacturing… but I would NOT recommend this item.

  2. Paul Vecsei says:

This unit was able to make nice coffees while it worked but after 7 months it started to die. It began passing coffee only sometimes and now, it makes all the right noises but no coffee is able to drip out. Not one drop, no matter what i do.

I will go on a crusade to inform the world about how worthless this product is. Imagine spending hundreds of dollars on a coffee maker that can’t even survive 8 months. Cuisinart, you have not heard the last of me!!

  3. I purchased this machine because out of my last four choices it was the only one I could pick up today and not have to order it on-line. When I got it home it was missing 2 of the three filter baskets and the 2 cleaning pins. The department store where I bought it had none left. So I called Cuisinart customer service. The representative I spoke to was very friendly and offered to send me the missing pieces. Her manager nixed that. He told me that they could waive the shipping fees, but I’d have to PURCHASE the missing pieces that should have been included and I’d already paid for when I purchased the machine. I bought a Lello Ariete 1375 instead.

  4. I don’t usually review items, but in this case I must say, that it from the first cup was intolerably slow, and was easily clogged despite washing carefully everytime. The pump vibreates so hard that you have to stand and keep your hand on the cup (I use a pyrex pitcher for accurate measurement and the darned thing nearly vibrated that heavy 8 oz pyrax pitcher right off the machine) the whole time. I just made a doppio that took 15 minutes. The frother is also inefficient, doing a decent job one time in five. I see better reviews, so maybe I just got a lemon, but should anyone get a lemon at a $150?

  5. I cannot say I am very happy with the new machine.

Water pressure is not as good as steam.

    More cleaning.

You cannot make 3 or 4 coffee at once

water tank is not that big

If you have steam coffee machine and you move to water think about it.
